Getting To Santorini

Santorini is over 130 nautical miles away from Athens, which makes it too far to travel in one week on a sailboat or catamaran.  There is also not a convenient overnight marina located near the main towns of Santorini.

However, if you’d like to spend time in Santorini in addition to seeing the amazing, less touristy, and more authentic Greek islands, our travel experts can help you plan a few nights in Santorini at the conclusion of your Greek Seas sailing trip.

(one way, per person)
Slow Ferry 8 hours €35-40
Fast Ferry 5.5 hours €60-70
Flight 45 minutes €40-100

We can also arrange a similar package for Mykonos. Contact us for pricing and more details.

Important Tip

Be wary of charter sailing companies offering trips to Santorini. The only port available for a sailing yacht to dock overnight is on the opposite side of the island from the main town.  There is not much to do (or see) there and it’s a 45 minute taxi ride to get into town.  This is why we recommend flying or taking a ferry.
