Getting to the Marina

Our yachts are located at Alimos Marina, which is 15 min from the center of Athens and 35 min from the Athens airport.

Take a Taxi

Tell them “Alimos Marina in Kalamaki” and they will know where to take you. The cost per taxi is about €40-60 and it takes 30-45 min from the airport. The time and cost is much less from the center of Athens.

Take the Tram

This is an affordable option if you are planning to spend Friday night in downtown Athens.  You’ll get off at the Marina Alimos stop on the blue/green line.

We'll Pick You Up

We are happy to arrange airport transportation to and from the marina. In this case, you’ll meet your driver at the airport when you arrive and they’ll take you to the marina.

Boarding Your Yacht

When you get to the marina, head to your the pier (we’ll let you know exactly where to meet your Greek Seas arrival host prior to your trip). You can check in with your arrival host and drop off your bags while we finish preparing and cleaning the yacht.

Boarding time on Saturday is between 3-5pm. We generally recommend you arrive at the marina around 2-3pm. This will give you time to shop for groceries and finalize any paperwork before setting sail. If you have some downtime before departure we recommend taking a short walk to the beach or grabbing some lunch at one of the restaurants nearby.

Food & Drinks

After you check-in with your captain, head to the market while your yacht is being prepared.  The closest supermarket is the Carrefour – a 10 minute walk, and they’ll deliver everything you buy right to your yacht. Our guests typically spend between €150-€250 per person on food and drinks for the week.

If your trip included a food & drink package, you don’t need to worry about buying groceries at the marina – everything you need is already onboard.
